If the internet drops, the cameras, the POS and the state system drop with it.

We source connectivity for businesses that run cameras, point-of-sale and compliance systems all day — licensed dispensaries and cultivators, pharmacies, convenience stores, clinics. Most sites we look at run everything on one consumer-grade cable line with no backup, billed at a rate that stopped being a promotion years ago.

“We had been with the same carriers and suppliers for years and assumed the rate was fine. Kent went through the bills line by line and found we were paying well above market with charges that had been creeping up for years. It cost us nothing to find out. We should have done it sooner.”— Lisa Farrell, Controller, Gourmet Garage
“What I liked was that he wasn't selling one company. He priced what we already had against everybody and showed me side by side. The savings were real and the paperwork was handled for us.”— Joseph Pagano, Supermarket Executive, Secaucus, NJ

What usually goes wrong

Cable lines fail on the upload side first. Surveillance systems record around the clock and push footage up constantly; when that saturates the line, card transactions start timing out and it looks like a POS problem when it isn't. State track-and-trace systems, alarm panels and VoIP phones all sit on the same line. One cut cable, one modem reboot, and the store can't legally sell.

The fix is not exotic: a properly sized business circuit, a second path (cellular or a second carrier) that takes over automatically, and phone lines that aren't on copper the carrier is retiring. Sized right, it usually costs less than what the current line is billed at once its promotional rate has expired.

What we do

Audit the bill. Whether the line is in contract, what it's really delivering, what's on retiring copper, and what the same service costs today.

Source the right circuit. Business internet, dedicated fiber where it's available, cellular or second-carrier failover, and phone lines that survive a copper retirement — from 300+ suppliers, one point of contact.

Manage the cutover. We coordinate the install and the switch so the cameras and POS never miss a beat. The supplier pays us; you never get an invoice from us.

How it works

  1. Send a bill. Forward one recent internet or phone bill to kent@sourcebandwidth.com — a phone photo of the first page is fine.
  2. We review it. Within a few days you get plain-language findings: what's out of contract, what a backup would run, and anything being sunset out from under you.
  3. You decide. If nothing's worth changing, we say so. If something is, we handle sourcing, negotiation and the install.

One bill. A few days. A clear answer.

Forward a bill, or tell us about the location.
